The Val de Loire Region is the heart of French history, full of attractive landmarks. I loved the continental breakfast and the free WiFi with garden views. Fishing on the surrounding water was definitely a highlight.

Ugh, the airport was too far away.

As a senior woman, I found the hotel's general areas, such as the lobby and dining room, to be easily accessible and comfortable to navigate.

If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, I would suggest that the children working there could offer more assistance with carrying luggage to the rooms.

We had a lovely stay at Le Logis De La Pataudiere in Champigny, sur, Veude. the room was beautiful and clean, with a comfortable bed. It served as a great starting point for day trips to castles like Chinon, Villandry, and the city of Tours. We also discovered the charming castle of Riveau just a short 15, minute drive away. After a day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to return to this peaceful and quiet place. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like. 😊.
